Tunisia is one of the greatest tourist destinations. If you planning a trip this summer you should try Tunisia.

Tunisia is a small country in north Africa It is bordered by Algeria to the west and southwest, Lybia to the southeast, and the Mediterranean sea to the north and east.

Here is a list of the places that you should visit:

Sidi Bou Said :

Sidi Bou Said town is a tourist attraction and is known for its extensive use of blue and white. Souvenirs can be bought in the main street. It can be reached by a TGM train, which runs from Tunis to La Marsa The entire town is located on top of a steep cliff, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The view from Sidi Bou Said is absolutely phenomenal, and will continue to amaze you throughout your entire trip.

Djerba:
Situated off the coast of Tunisia, Djerba is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean sea.

Hammamet:
Hammamet is a town in Tunisia. Thanks to its beaches it is a popular destination for swimming and water sports. It is the first tourist destination in Tunisia. It is located in the south east of the northern peninsula of Cap Bon in the Governorate of Nabeul, on the northern edge of the Gulf of Hammamet.

Sousse:
Perched on the coast of the Mediterranean sea, Sousse is a glistening town on the East Coast of Tunisia, located about 150km south of the capital. With a long history dating back as far as the 11th century, Sousse has huge appeal for tourists. It was founded by the Phoenicians in the 11th century and has been fought over by the Romans, Arabs and Europeans. This colourful history, and a vibrant culture make Sousse a must visit destination for everyone – whether you want to laze about on the beach, or immerse yourself in history.

Tozeur:
This charming city in the South West of Tunisia is based around a large Oasis famous for its Palm trees and production of dates, which are exported around the world. The city is a good place to glimpse the Sahara from and take in traditional Tunisian culture including a wide range of architectural styles.

Dougga:
Dougga or Thugga is an ancient Roman city in northern Tunisia, included in a 65 hectare archaeological site.

Matmata:
Matmata is a small Berber speaking town in southern Tunisia. Some of the local Berber residents live in traditional underground "troglodyte" structures

Carthage:
Carthage ( "New City") was the centre or capital city of the ancient Carthaginian civilization, on the eastern side of the Lake of Tunis in what is now the Tunis Governorate in Tunisia.

El Djem:
It is home to some of the most impressive Roman remains in Africa, like the world-famous "Roman amphitheater of Thysdrus".

Tataouine:
The town is a must-see for tourists to Tunisia. The Hotel Sidi Driss, which actually is easy to miss unless you search for it or have guide, was the location for the first Star Wars movie, and over again for the Attack of the Clones.

Kairouan:

Haouaria:
