Bosnia is the country which has two entities who do not like each other 'Republic of Srpska' and 'Federation'.
In Bosnia majority of citizens are declared as Bosnian Muslims followed by Orthodox Serbs and then Croatian Catholics and there is always tension created by politicians.
We are poor country and we rely on MMF without them we would declare bankruptcy years ago.
Corruption is everywhere from Health to Justice and without cash you can go nowhere.
Economic is on very low level and majority of people is unemployed and those who work work for nothing except those who are employed by government. Average salary is under $250 and is rarely regular while price of one bread and 1l of milk is 2.5 usd.
Roads and general infrastructure is at the lowest possible standard, we have only one highway which is long 50km in total.
Road in Bosnia
And we have two small Airports on in Tuzla(federation) and second in Banja Luka (capital city of Republic of Srpska)

While situation is mostly negative we have plenty of good people and natural beauty and I will post about them in Part II.

Bosnia and Herzegovina (Listeni/ˈbɒzniə ənd ˌhɛərtsəɡoʊˈviːnə, -ˌhɜːrt-, -ɡə-/ or /ˌhɜːrtsəˈɡɒvᵻnə/;[8][9] Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian Latin script: Bosna i Hercegovina, Bosnian and Serbian Cyrillic script: Боснa и Херцеговина; pronounced [bôsna i xěrt͡seɡoʋina]), sometimes called Bosnia-Herzegovina or Bosnia & Herzegovina, abbreviated BiH or B&H, and, in short, often known informally as Bosnia, is a country in Southeastern Europe located on the Balkan Peninsula. Sarajevo is the capital and largest city. Bordered by Croatia to the north, west, and south; Serbia to the east; Montenegro to the southeast; and the Adriatic Sea to the south, with a coastline about 20 kilometres (12 miles) long surrounding the city of Neum. In the central and eastern interior of the country the geography is mountainous, in the northwest it is moderately hilly, and the northeast is predominantly flatland. The inland is a geographically larger region and has a moderate continental climate, with hot summers and cold and snowy winters. The southern tip of the country has a Mediterranean climate and plain topography.

I live in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and I find this post to be very misleading, it is true that we have low employment rates and a lot of corruption, but I think that we are actually better of than some other nearby countries. I also disagree that we have the "lowest possible standards" when it comes to infrastructure — As a side note, the picture of the road in this post is not an actual picture of the highway that you are speaking about. Again, it's true that the highway is relatively short, but if you have ever driven on it, you should know that it's very modern and well-built. Also there are 4 airports in Bosnia, and for whatever reason you failed to mention the biggest and most popular one in the capital, Sarajevo International Airport. The other unmetioned airport is located in Mostar and it's also bigger than the one you mentioned in Banja Luka.
