The Bad investment (TimeShare)

14th year ago while in my honeymoon I got into a timeshare (Westgate Resorts). I believe that the worst investment I have ever done. I never used it for over 7 years and the interest was really high. beside that I had to pay maintenance fee. Look out for those offers when you are on vacation, they give you free ride and free stuff to go and listen to the offer and if you and/or your partner are no strong enough you might get into it. to get out is really hard. Then third parties offer you to help you sell for an upfront fee. ( is another scam, it does not work).

The good Part

To exchange place of vacation I had to use a third party company http://intervalworld.com . and actually that was the only good thing it came from it.. because after i lost the timeshare and the money I paid. I'm still a member of interval... they offer gataway and if I reserve with enough time in advance I get pretty good deals. like a condo in Orlando with two bedroom with bathroom and one with Jacuzzi full kitchen , living room, dining room, and other amenities for $525.00 for 7 days. or an two story condo with 3 bedroom for $900.00 for seven day. Now that is what i use to get my family vacation every year.
