Roundabout

Roundabouts in Cambodia have all different artworks like this one in Kampot the famous "durian".

Although this roundabouts are looking awesome their purpose is that they are regonation points. Most Cambodians can not read or write so this is how the find their way instead reading Google maps. You will notice if you ask the way by Google maps to a Cambodian tuk tuk driver..he will be very polite to help you but he likely to send in a other direction... Don't get angry he just can't read or write.. better that you give him a regonizable object to get to your way like for this instance the "durian" but the are many more ofcourse. So look around for artworks around the roads you will see them at crossroads or roundabouts.
