Spain is famous the world round for its warm weather and Mediterranean climate but it is not fully true. Even if it is true that the country has much warmer weather on the whole than the UK, the climate in Madrid is anything but mild.
In fact, madrileños describe the city’s weather as having nueve meses de invierno y tres meses de infierno (nine months of winter and three months of hell).
Now that it’s July, it’s time to get ready for the high temperatures. So what can you do in Madrid to stay cool?

There are many! I specially recommend "El parque de las tetas" in Vallecas.
Go to the swimming pool
You definitely need it! Find a good one and chill there as soon as you habe time!
