Mount Titlis(Switzerland) - Heaven on Earth!

in travel •  7 years ago

Titlis is a mountain of the Uri Alps, located on the border between the cantons of Obwalden and Berne. At 3,238 metres (10,623 ft) above sea level, it is the highest summit of the range north of the Susten Pass, between the Bernese Oberland and Central Switzerland.

Engelberg is the town at base of Mount Titlis. We took a 30 min train from Lucerne to Engelberg. From there we took a cable car to reach Mount Titlis.

TITLIS Rotair, the World’s first revolving aerial cableway, continues all the way to the top.

Ice flyer - This is a chairlift that takes us over natural glaciers. Awesome experience to ride in the open air.

There are other great things to see like chain suspension bridge, glacier cave etc.
