Hi, Dear Steemians Friends

Today many Steemians seems to take some time off from Steemit, Mainly because of the huge drop in the market and I can understand it even I didn't feel it is the best strategy. So, let's close our Coinmarketcap for sometimes, close our Blockfolio and take some time to do things that make us relax a little. Here, I will make a quick talk about Hong Kong, for those of you that are planning a trip there, even if the town is one of the most crowdy places in the world you still can find peace at many places. One of my favorite thing to do and enjoy Hong Kong is always to wake up for the sunrise and go to a place like the Victoria Harbor where you can see the whole Hong Kong town and enjoy the view as you are alone, before the town to wake up, believe it is a great moment. Also, I like to go to the Victoria Peak at this early time and feel like you are at the top of the sleeping city. At both places, you are likely to be alone with the Eagles and around 7 AM some people will come around to do their morning Tai Chi or Chinese gymnastics. People of Hong Kong are very open mind and if you ask them most of the time they are happy to share their knowledge and invite you to join. Believe me it is a great experience, at first, you may be surprised that you are not able to follow the movements even if people can be much older than you are, they do Tai Chi for decades and they don't feel tired like you. Tai chi is a great way of relaxing in Hong Kong and take care of your health. At every park and green area of the city, you will come across peoples doing Tai Chi. Sometimes you can find people using swords, a lance or even fans in both hands it is a beautiful spectacle. So next time you are going to Hong Kong give it a try, it is a great experience and a way to meet locals. For those who want more action, you can join the Wing Chun courses of master Sam Lau in Tsim Tsa Tsui district Kowloon, Kung Fu, and Chinese boxing made popular with Bruce Lee. Sam Lau is not a young man anymore but nobody will touch him.

Thanks for sharing these pics .. HK is one amazing city .. a place one just cannot get bored of!

Definitely an interesting scene. Most of the times when I'm in HK .. I'm never up so early to catch such activities.

Taichi is an amazing form of martial arts! When I was much much younger .. I used to think of it as "Too Slow" .. it's only with age and more training that I come to appreciate the grace and the level of difficulty in executing those "slow moves"!

Thank you @efongym, I agree with you on everything. Hong Kong is in my eyes the best city in the world, I never get bored of it. The early morning time in Hong Kong is really the best moment, you have the whole town for you, I posted about it already before. Same as you when I was a child Tai Chi was too slow but the older we get and the more we understand about the benefits of Tai Chi and sure it is not easy to execute all the moves but older people are very good with it. Love Hong Kong :)

Yeah .. looking to go drop over HK for a getaway and catch up with some friends soon!!

Thank you @ricko66 for this article. I have never been to Hong Kong, but I will try to go there definitely. Actually it´s not to far from my home Chiang Mai - Thailand.

And also a good idea to close the coinmarketcap today. I bought my first Steem today. I think I got a good deal. Resteemed

Sawasdee Khrap @billy-thai, nice to meet you. Hong Kong is a beautiful place very different than Chiang Mai, where I also live. I think it is a good idea to close Coinmarketcap for some time and get some good time :)

Hello @ricko66. You are from Chiang Mai too! I´m German. The most people I spoke here about Steemit don´t know it. Where are you from?

I am from France but I live in Thailand for 20 years. There is a Steemit meetup every month in Chiang Mai for the farang but I never go because I am here to take care of the Thai and Lao community :)

Oh. That sounds interesting. Where do they meet?

I am not sure where is the place today, I get invited a few times but I have many things to do here and outside Thailand. I make a search and I give you the link https://steemit.com/static/search.html take a look at the newest post about the meetup, let me know maybe I can also go once :)

Thank you for your help. I will try to find out when and where they meet. I´m totally new on Steemit. Right now I´m working on my introducing post. I´m happy for any help and to meet others is probably very good

Sure it is good and can help, I am the founder and leader of Thai/Lao community under #thai and a @curie member for Thailand and Laos. But you are welcome if you need some answers about the platform, Steemit is a very good ecosystem with many apps. Please keep me informed about meetup place and date, who knows... :)

Sawaddee kha ^^ that's very good for health but I saw just the old people to do that right?

Yes, mainly old people early morning and later some younger one, maybe they wake up later. But also young people in Hong Kong have a very busy life so they may not have time to participate and also like in Thailand tradition slowly fade away as modern life make people too busy and bring their interest into other things than spirituality. Young people are more interested in Win Chun or Kung Fu. Thank You @irinpps:)

Oic thanks so much for sharing
Have a great day @ricko66 ^^

Thank You @irinpps, enjoy your weekend :)

This is exactly what I did because the market is frustrating these days thanks my friend

Keep relaxing as it is the best way to feel better :)

It seems that there are only older generation of people doing Tai Chi!
Where are all the young people and teenagers?!
You should try Tai Chi in Lumpinee Park in Bangkok too!

I only see yoga being taught in various health or training gym.
I have never seen anyone offer classes on Tai Chi in Bangkok!

Cheers.

Young peoples are waking up later but it seems to be only people after 30 years old and many old people come to practice. In Chiang Mai, there is a school teaching Tai Chi and Tibetan Kung Fu quite expensive. Like in Thailand modern age get rid of traditions in today's generation.
Regards.

Great post @ricko66 I like Hong Kong so much
And I hope that one day I will go to this country.

Thank You @meow99, it is not far from Thailand 3:30 hours fly from BKK and AirAsia make it cheap when reserved two months in advance. It is a place to enjoy, Hong Kong is very nice place :)

Amazing post & Great content,My Dear Friend : )
Sorry for the delayed comment.Dear Friend
Since I'm a kid, I like all types of Chinese boxing.
And like Tai Chi, it is the ultimate in art.
And I'm glad to see it again in Hong Kong.
Thank you so much for sharing that wonderful experience.

Thank You @beer32, no worry I must be a big kid as I always love Wing Chun, Tai Chi, and Kung Fu and Hong Kong is the place for it :)

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

Beleive me it is a great experience, at first, you may be surprised that you are not able to follow the movements even if people can be much older than you are, they do Tai Chi for decades and they don't feel tired like you.
It should be believe instead of beleive.

Thank You :)
