Things of Cambodia

Hi, Dear Steemians Friends.

I am in my last days in Cambodia and I have to say it is way better now than 18 years ago. I am quite impressed with all what I have seen here. My friend wich I know for 16 years who use to be the bodyguard of a very high profile Thai, give me the right temperature of what is going on in Cambodia. It seems the modern life has started two years ago with many contracts signed with China and Russia in many fields like road development, constructions, technology and school. As we are living in the most expensive part of Phnom Phen I can see in the district many beautiful houses and it does not look like the Cambodia I use to know. But a few things remain from the old time like the chaos on the road. It is an experience of life or dies to take the road around here as everybody drives the way you want, seems like the rules of the road do not apply here and if there is a side to drive many peoples seems to forget about it. I find a tuk-tuk driver who is speaking Thai so I can explain myself easily and use his services only. Another thing that really shows how Cambodia is, I went with my friend at a bar place and he shows me a bar with many policemen undercover with their walkie-talkie in front of a bar and explains to me that they are here just to protect the customers of the bar who are coming to smoke ganja at the terrace of the bar, this is part of what Cambodia is a two side country. Anyway, I do have some really good time here with the friend and will be back. I also find what can become a Cambodian team for Steemit so I will see how can we grow this new community in the future. Here I share some pics of the surrounding.

Many of the new buildings are really design and modern.
