Welcome back to a look inside one of the biggest cruise ships in the world.

I originally I thought this review would be one long review but after starting I quickly realised that this was going to be a far longer article than I expected.
Fitness and Spa
Located on decks 11 and 12 are the gym and Spa.
Gym
Completely free to use the gym offers an extensive selection of machines, free weights, cable machines, treadmills, spinning bikes, rowing machines and steppers. For anyone who is a regular gym goer and wants to maintain their fitness you will find everything you need here or if you are a newcomer and fancy giving it a go they offer fitness checks, classes and training programs to help you lead a healthier lifestyle or or you just need to burn off the rediculous amount of food you eat onboard!
Spa
I'll be honest I hate the spa, if you're into massages and beauty treatments it's great but the staff hassle you to get more and more treatments, everything is way way overpriced and like I said the staff never stop trying to push more and more products on you which annoys the hell out of me.
The Royal Promenade
The royal promenade is located on deck 5 and is the main area people congregrate and hang out at the cafes or check out the shops. It's basically a shopping street in the centre of the ship that spans 4 decks.
Along this street you can even find a vintage car parked to add to the feeling of being on a shopping street on shore.
This street features a range of duty free shops, jewelery including Pandora and handbags including Michael Kors, the Royal Caribbean logo store a clothes store, ben and jerrys ice cream store along with Sorrentos and cafe promenade on either end and bars such as the Dog and Badger and vintages. Located near the elevators is also guest services.

Prices onboard
As you would imagine the prices are expensive and depending where you are for example off the coast of spain an additional 10% tax is added. Here is a general example of some of the prices on board.
Bottle of Corona - $7.95
Cocktail - $12
Small Ice cream - $3.95
Shot of espresso - $2.20
Speciality coffee - $4.95
200 cigarettes - $30
50 ml perfume - $69
These are kind of a range of different items you may buy and are quite expensive but when you consider theirs not a whole lot else you need to buy you can still keep your on board costs down.
Communication at sea
Royal Caribbean offers onboard wifi but unfortunately it's not free.
Surf and browse
- The the surf and browse package you get internet that isn't very fast but will be enough to browse websites and use the likes of viber to message and call home. Cost is $12.99 per day.
Surf and stream
- The surf and stream package gives you super fast internet quick enough to download and stream movies on your tablet and phone. Cost is around $29 per day.
Cellular at Sea
While onboard you will also connect to Royal Caribbeans Cellular at sea, their mobile network. Be warned the network is an american network and if you arent from USA or you don't have a roaming package cost will mount quickly.
Join me for Part 3 when we discuss what exactly happens on board for entertainment via the extensive daily planner.
It's like a floating city! It looks really cool though!

That's exactly how my mother described it! Yea when you're sailing you forget you're even on a ship.
