I thought I'd switch from landscape to animals this time. This is a photo of two Kea - New Zealand's infamous alpine parrots - fighting over the top of a rock. The birds are called the 'clowns of the mountain' and after seeing them, it doesn't take a genius to guess why. They're always keen to put on a show. This amazing performance took place near the summit of Ben Lomond (Queenstown) on a chilly and foggy day at 1500 meters altitude.
