A cool shade with a sprinkle of water activity would surely be a nice thing to beat the summer heat.

A summer without a splash of water and cool shade of trees is sure booring, so we grab our swimming gear and prepared our adventurous heart as we gather along to the GAP : Land of Promise a Nature Park with tiny bits of history about our culture and fun.

GAP is a ten-hectare mountain resort and orchard that is filled with various fruit bearing trees located in the hilly part of Green Valley, Diversion Road, Ma-a, Davao City. GAP Farm is a popular tourist destination and a favorite family outing spot for locals, and is frequented by students during field trips.

The Resort has an Olympic-size swimming pool, a historical tunnel and some of the statues of the natives living around the Philippines. The residents of the farm are also the care takers, which also give them sustainability in terms of livelihood.

The huge amount of greens here is so overwhelming, that gives the cool fresh air that you surely want. The presence of the fruit bearing trees is widely spread around the farm. They manage to put different species of plant which provide food and shelter both animals and locals.

My niece sure is enjoying the farm ..

They have also a play park, where you can play and relax for awhile during in your long hike through the Farm. Which we enjoyed a lot because its quiet and relaxing.

She sure is having fun too ..

After a long day, we surely enjoyed our stay. We had a great time on the pool and the farm, we beat the summer heat and successfully had a long walk with nature.

If we take good care of our nature, we are rewarded with many things such as cool shade, fresh air and greener environment. We are all winners if we do this part, look at her so happy with our little adventure.
