Bulgaria

It is a delicious, fragrant and varied cuisine that satisfies every taste. One of the oldest and most revered crafts of the Bulgarian people is winemaking. For the first time winemakers appeared on the Bulgarian lands thousands of years ago, and since then the Bulgarian people have inherited this skill. A rich and varied selection of white wines, the tamyanka, Dimyat, Rkatsiteli, Riesling, Chardonnay, and red: Pamid, Gamza, Mavrud, Cabernet Melnishko. Bulgarians came up and" rakia " (plum brandy).

Visa

Necessary documents: passport with the personal signature of the owner, valid for three months after the end of the trip, a photocopy of the first page of the passport, one color photo 3,5 x 4,5 cm on a light background, a questionnaire with the personal signature of the tourist.

For children, regardless of whether they are entered in the parents ' passport or not, a separate questionnaire is filled in, to which a full set of documents is attached. Children up to 6 years visa is issued free of charge. In addition to the General list, the following documents must be submitted: a copy of the child's birth certificate (preferably with the original); if the child travels with one of the parents or third parties, a notarized power of attorney for the removal of the child from the remaining parent and a copy thereof, as well as a copy of the first page of the passport of the principal.

If one of the parents has died or is missing, you must provide the relevant documents (death certificate, original certificate from the police, a copy of the books, single mothers, etc.).

Children who have reached the age of 6 and entered in the passport of their parents must have a picture pasted in.

The term of registration of a normal visa — 5-7 working days, urgent-three working days.

Transport

The most common means of transportation is a taxi. As a rule, these are yellow cars with "checkers". The fare is most often negotiated at landing, but sometimes you can find fixed prices reflected in the price list. All major cities have public transport: buses, trolleybuses and trams. If you often use public transport, you can buy a pass. The rules of car rental in Bulgaria correspond to international: must be over 21 years old and have an international driver's license.

Money

In Bulgaria, all payments are made in the local currency" leva", which can be exchanged for dollars or euros in any exchange office. Credit cards and travellers ' cheques are not yet widely accepted, but you can always withdraw cash in local currency from the Bank. It is not profitable to change currency in hotels. In big cities the course is better than in resorts.
