Hiking up the Ulchisar Castle

As we make our way up the Ulchisar castle, there are a few dozen rooms that are cut into the rock for us to explore.

The one that you see in front of you is a small home dwelling. You can see the old walls there that they had built in ancient times.

These cave homes are not isolated on its own because as you explore inside, there are passageways that lead us to the next cave opening. In some sense, they are interconnected as we hike our way up to the top.

This is a map of the small tourist Ulchisar town. Ulchisar is at the highest point of Cappadocia.
You can drive in from Goreme or take local buses to Ulchisar as they run quite frequently between towns.

You must make a visit to Cappadocia at least once in your life time. Make sure you spend some time walking some of these mountain trails when you come to Cappadocia. It is very natural and scenic.
