With this message in mind, ANVP had acquired lands from farmers. Whoever succumbed losses in the process were compensated by the Government adequately. The initiative of land rehabilitation in Atal Nagar, Rs 15,000 per acre will be paid for the next 14 years to all those who mutually sold their lands to ANVP.
Furthermore, farmers will be eligible for a hike of Rs 750 per acre every year. Ownership deeds of 1200 sq feet of land have been granted to each family.
