ALASKA: some pictures from my recent trip

I wish I had a chance to travel more often than I do. However, when I go somewhere, I prefer to choose locations that are not overcrowded, and where pristine, beautiful nature is preserved.

My recent trip was in September to Alaska's mountains and national parks. I would like to share with you some of the pics I've made.

Alaska is a land of ice. Here, a photo of a glacier.

Alaska is also a land of fog and endless forests.

Another glacier. This time, it decends from an icefield.

Guess, what you need after a long day among glacier? A bottle of fine Alaskan ale :)

So much land in Alaska, that even in case of a closed trail you'll have a chance to see a grizzly bear :)

Ice meets mountains.

Best way you can have an excellent sleep at night. But it can be reeeeeeally cold. :)

Mount Denali as seen across a forest. Many visitors to Alaska don't have a chance to see it because of weather.

Here a view down one of Alaska's mountains. See the river below? It's not deep at has many feeders due to lack of precipitation.

Fog and mist are widespread. It's easy to lose you way if no people are around you.
