Goa. Part 2

in travel •  8 years ago

In the second part of the story about our trip to Goa, I will talk about the places we managed to visit. Unfortunately, a week is a lot to go around no time, so I will describe just a few of the beaches and villages in North Goa. Along with photos, of course.

The state of Goa stretches from North to Yur 105 kilometers, and from West to East to a maximum of 65 kilometers. Therefore, to overcome the distances in Goa is not too long. And, most importantly, is quite nice. To travel around Goa, of course, better on a scooter or motorcycle.

Old Goa
Old Goa is the former capital of the entire state of Goa. The city is notable for the presence of a huge number of Catholic churches and cathedrals as well as museums. Especially interesting archaeological Museum in the city centre, where you can find almost the entire history of Goa.

Here, unfortunately, we had a nasty accident, and one of us clipped the wallet. Fortunately, there's a lot of money was not. But be careful.

Vagator
In Vagator we watched the sunset. To see the sunset are going to not only tourists but also locals. Some of them come here, sit down, and just look at how quickly the sun goes down.

Calangute, Candolim
Calangute and Candolim are two small villages located a few kilometers from each other. In derevko there are markets, cafes, rental of scooters and motorcycles – in short, everything you need to relax in Goa. The Calangute beach (Calangute) is quite clean and pleasant. So this place is tourist.

Anjuna
Anjuna is a small bustling town with a great beach and lots of cafes and bars right on the sand. During the day you can ride on water scooters.

Flea market in Anjuna
Every Wednesday in Anjuna going to the flea market where you can buy clothes, Souvenirs, tea, natural soap and more.
