1st SOLO trip to JAISALMER

Jaisalmer, one of the best place to visit in india. it's my 1st journey to jaisalmer. even i never been to rajasthan before. this time actually i was planning to visit leh and manali but i got to know that rohtang pass was closed. so i suddenly changed all my plans and decided to go for jaisalmer. so morning i had searched about jaisalmer, after noon i booked the train ticket and evening i boarded the train. this was my travel plan and i like these kind of sudden plans. one more interesting fact about this trip was it's my first SOLO expedition.

DAY 1 @JAISALMER
I am an active couch surfer,it helped me a lot while travelling. In jaisalmer also i could get a couch surfer. his name was dilbar. it's around 18 hrs journey from delhi to jaisalmer in train. once i reached the railway station i called my host. that guy came with his friend to pick me up from the railway station itself. from that moment i could experience a lot of good moments there. he offered me a wonderful room with an italian fellow traveler for free. i reached that hotel around noon time. After taking a shower and a small rest i went to the jaisalmer fort. The jaisalmer fort has one special feature. it's the only one living fort in india.( information given by dilbar). the fort was really awesome with its structure and beautiful yellow stones.. while i was visiting the fort i got a message from one local person in hang out. he was asking for me to meet him over there in his new cafe. i went to his cafe and he offered me one special tea with a lots of flavors in it. we had a wonderful talk after that. He has given me much more details about the jaisalmer and nearby attractive places. this meeting went upto 45 minutes. while leaving from there i didn't forget to take a selfie with this wonderful guy.

after that i roamed all around the fort. it's was about to sunset. the sky became a red color and i could see a wonderful sunset from the top of the jaisalmer fort. more than sunset there was a place in jaisalmer fort where we can see the magnificient view of the jaisalmer city. that was really awesome.

top of my room there was a nice restaurant. Normally those restuarants are expensive and i am a student also. so i can't afford those hotels. i had tasted some local foods from there that too budget friendly. I was still roaming around the jaisalmer roads at 11.30 pm alone and was enjoying the life over there. suddenly my host called me and asked me to come to my hotel as soon as possible. I reached there and he and his boss (mukhar ji) had come with a car and we went to some unknown place. it's a long drive in the middle of the night and we had reached a empty place. None was there , complete darkness and pin drop silence and a sky full of stars looking at us. we had switched off the vehicle light and sat there for long time by sharing some travel stories and their life experiments. you know they offered some beers and cigarettes but i had to refuse it because i don't smoke or drink at that time.
the talk went up to early morning. but those place and stars are still in front of my eyes.

we reached the hotel around 3 or 4 am in the morning and i went for a good sleep with a lots of memories.
