INFORMATION FROM STEEM.SUPPLY: HOW REWARDS ARE BEEN CALCULATED ON STEEMIT

Thanks to the information acquired from steem.supply which elaborate more on how the steemit reward are calculated.

There are few things noticed, when a payment is done which are;

1. Author reward
2. Curator reward

Firstly, many thinks that the $50 beneath their post is the amount of SBD they will receive as payment after stipulated time.
But here is the breakdown of the your acquired token.

1. The $50 beneath your post is called STU known as "Steem Token Unit" which is totally different from Steem and SBD.
   

This STU is subdivided into 100% .

Curators reward
The curators reward is always 25% of your STU.
Example: $50 STU .
Curator reward = 70.68*0.25 = 17.67
Which means that the curators rewards from the STU is $17.67

Authors Reward
With curators rewards of 25% removed, it will remain 75% of STU which is $53.01.
Then this will be divided "50/50". That is 50% of SBD and 50% of Steem.

Here the 50% of $53.01 = $26.505 SBD

Then for steem it is calculated for it exact price in the market.
For the remaining $26.505/5.25 (current steem price) = 5.049 steem.

So i think with this, we can tell how everything is divided.
