On the ridge a wind was waiting for us. Not very strong, not knocked down.

На хребті на нас чекав вітер. Не дуже сильний, з ніг не збивав.

But for the sake of admiring landscapes one could tolerate not only the wind, but also frost.

Але задля милуванням краєвидами можна було стерпіти не тільки вітер, а й мороз.

We went down a little bit, left their backpacks and only took cameras and sticks to climb again on the ridge to catch the sunset.

Ми спустились трошки вниз, залишили свої рюкзаки та взявши тільки фотоапарати та палиці піднялись знову на хребет, щоб зловити захід сонця.

There were no snowshoes, but the snow was not very deep. Only behind the ridge was a lot of snow. There we was up to our necks in snow.

Снігоступів не було, але сніг не був дуже глибокий. Тільки за хребтом намело багато. Там можна було провалитись по шию.

On the ridge the wind drew strange drawings on the snow surface, and built strange sculptures.

На хребті вітер намалював на поверхні снігу дивні малюнки, та збудував дивні скульптури.

The sunset rays painted all around in warm yellow-orange tones, although the temperature fell.

Промені заходу фарбували все навколо в теплі жовто-помаранчеві тони, хоча температура падала.

We were in time for the sunset. But about this in the next part ... ;-)

Ми встигли на захід. Але про це в наступній частині ...;-)

Класс, красивые горы. Почему бы на лыжах или снегоступах не прогуляться, даже по не очень глубокому снегу кучу сил отнимает передвижение с грузом пешком.

Со снегоступами часто не угадаешь помогут они или нет. Но, таскать от 2кг. придется в любом случае... Если мягкий пушок - праваливаются, если наст - не нужны. Только если точно знать что помогут - тогда стоит. Лыжи - отдельная тема... :-) Спасибо!
