Every day there are sharks. And sharks attack you out of nowhere. They are "peaceful" animals (yes they have to attack other fishes to get fed up, other animals do this too!) all the anxiety comes from news or movies when an accident happens (which is not often).
As soon as the beach reopened I was in the water, I understand that you’re never gonna be far from sharks when you enter the oceans around Australia. I’d bet there are 10’s of sharks within a few hundred meters of Manly and Bondi at all times, if they really had a taste for humans then there would be hundreds of attacks per week
There's more sharks on Wall St than Australian beaches ;)
