              @qwertyman, เกาะสมุย - это тайское слово, переводится как Кох Самуи. Версии происхождения две mui - одно из деревьев растущих на острове или вторая Saboey - с китайского "убежище". Кох - с тайского остров. Но вообще точно не известно как произошло название :)
