Think before you say” I’ve seen it all”.Life doesn’t fail to surprise even the widely traveled.Widely considered as land of folklore and mystery,the rich history and cultural wealth of India has always amazed and enthralled people from far and wide.Many of such mysteries remain unsolved and unexplained even today.Today we bring you one such mind baffling puzzle from the land of Incredible India.These mysteries will make you think twice whether Bermuda Triangle is the most mysterious of all?

Even the young learners in school can tell you what the reddish,brownish or orange powder like deposition on your iron objects is…Rust. It’s a known fact that the surface of iron objects when exposed to air or moisture forms a coating of rust on the surface.Wonder what would happen to a 1600 year old pillar crafted from iron and being exposed to harsh conditions for such a long period….Well definitely ruin to rust.But this isn’t the case with the Iron Pillar at Delhi.

Forged around 1600 years old,it is said to have been built during the golden Gupta dynasty., weighing 6000kg and measuring nearly 24ft the Pillar has not rusted yet.The pillar currently resides in Qutb Complex a UNESCO World Heritage site alongside the famous Qutb Minar.The Pillar was relocated here and the current place of it’s origin is still debated.

The pillar has amazed archaeologists and material scientists from far and wide because of it’s resistance to corrosion.The iron pillar continues to be one of the world’s foremost metallurgical curiosities.Today the Iron pillar of **Qutub Minar **stands as a marvel of Indian architecture and a mystery to the world.
