I have just been out eating my daily ice cream in Izola, and even though it was raining slightly, we had a great time. Good ice-cream is fantastic, even when it's raining!
When you live in a big town, it is always fantastic to experience the quietness of a little fish town like Izola. Here you can sit down and listen to the waves, look at the boats, see beautiful sunsets and sunrises (when my children wake me up early in the morning), and walk around in small streets and image how fishermen returned home to their families in these small streets after a long day of fishing at the sea hundreds of years ago.
Here you can see a picture I made tonight as we walked home after eating our daily ice cream. It was much nicer weather yesterday, so if you want to see what the harbor looked like yesterday, check this photo.
