Sjennon sees the World #5 - Visiting the Tho Li Su, the largest and highest Waterfall of Thailand

After one sleeping on a mat in a teeny weeny tent and being stung about 200 times by mosquitos, our next day arrived.

Today was the day I was looking most forward to! Finally, a waterfall! Like a really big one :D

Like I mentioned in the title, the Thi Lo Su waterfall is considered the largest and highest one in Thailand.

It stands 250 metres (820 ft) high and nearly 450 metres (1,480 ft) wide on the Mae Klong River, flowing down from Huai Klotho into the Umphang Wildlife Sanctuary in Tak Province in northwestern Thailand.

In order to see this beautiful piece of scenery, we were supposed to wake up around 7 AM for breakfast was served at 7:30 AM. Still feeling off and nauseated I couldn't eat much of the eggs they had prepared for that morning. After a little break, a 20 minute walk was awaiting us.

The best thing was that the camping's location was exactly where it needed to be. After exiting it through the back, a path was there leading us right to the waterfall.

Whilst walking on that stone path, you could sometimes peep some plants to see the magnificent top of the waterfall. Ofcourse, nothing beats the entire image.

After a short walk, you're end up on a platform with a beautiful view of the waterfall as shown in the first image. After that it's climbing time, because we do not stop until we're in it!

Some of us, even went jumping from one of them!

Caution: We had a guide tellings us exactly where we could jump from. There are rocks right below the waterfall and you might severly injure yourself if you do not have supervision. Do not go cliff jumping without someone with knowledge of the waterfall.
