Finally I could see a bunch of rocks on the corner of the steps.

It was impressive there was a pine tree on the top of the rock.

There was the carved Buddha statues on the surface of the Rock

The position where the rock stood was exceptionally wonderful.
In this position, it is said that the expression of the statue is changing at morning and evening.

This relic was found in 1954 AD. It meant that this statue had slept in this mountain for more than 1500 years. It is mysterious how people had not known the existence of the statue in this temple.

It was morning when I got to there.
In this posting, I’d like to show you the whole appearance of the statue.

As I posted before, the rocks in Korean mountain are usually the granite.

So it is very hard to cave the statue on the rock.

Beautiful pictures between.

@slowwalker,
Wow it's wonderful! They crafted these statue of Lord Buddha on a rock so brilliantly! One other thing that I was curious is, similar type of carved Buddha statue is at my country.
It's at Buduruwagala! here I am attaching it with this comment! Did you notice similarities! I wish you might visit my country and I can assure you can see lots of Craved Buddha statue here as well! Thanks for sharing such wonderful and rare experiences with us!

Cheers~

Your travels are amazing. I love seeing more of these Buddhist temples. I think I need to save and travel further.

Amazing mountain reliefs. This is a very delicate and painstaking work. Not often you can find such rock paintings. I've only seen this in Lucerne in Switzerland.

Very wonderful stone carving art 🎨... I love your photography & post 📪 my dear lovely friend @slowwalker

It must also be a very important place visually if it has been chosen to accommodate this statue ..

Very nice photo

That big rock itself looks like a face of someone...
I'm pretty sure it took very long for someone to carve those hard granites.
Beautiful pieces of art!

Buenas noches amigo @slowwalker , impresionantes las figuras talladas en esa roca que usted nos presenta en esas imágenes . Deseo que se encuentre mejor de su rodilla y que tenga una feliz noche.

@slowwalker, It's amazing to see munches of rocks in Baekjae Kingdom. Also surprising to see carved Buddha statues on the stones. More than 1500 years wanna longest history indeed there.

In this position, it is said that the expression of the statue is changing at morning and evening.

Totally unbelievable, but probably it can be coz there are some mysterious look I've seen. Koreans had most proud technology for carved statues on the hardest stones. Photo clicks perfect.

Thanks again for sharing some fantastic photographs.

It is always a pleasure to share your photographs on twitter for my followers to see.

Have a great week.

Stephen

Wow is impressive that there are still statues and sculptures on that mountain that are treasures and part of the story, the best of all is the view you must have from there the landscape must be something spectacular

Places like this always give me chills... Just to think about what can have happened their hundreds of years ago.

Gorgeous statue. Looks very beautiful !!! I also can not believe that such beauty could not be found until 1954.

Великолепная статуя. Выглядит очень красиво!!! Мне тоже не верится, что такую красоту не могли отыскать до 1954 года.

Its looks so beautiful and i always love your photography. you are great. :)

Thanks for your very interesting and informative article ... I enjoyed it a lot ... the photos are amazing!

Namaste ☮💚🦋

Hermosas fotos y que asombrosa historia de esa piedra, me gustaría conocer más de esa misteriosa roca.. lo invito a que vea mi perfil ya que soy nueva en esta plataforma. Espero contar con su apoyo..

Ahhh... now we can see the rock more closer, from far down in your previous post it was really not possible to recognize the carve Buddha, but that is a real human size, on one hand it is easy to do such size art then smaller because you have enough space for details and you can work with fine instruments. The figures themselves slightly outstanding from the surface that gives them 3d Effect too. It seems that the Artists that time had to polish the surface of figures to give them smooth appearance. beautiful three Buddha figures and very good survive throughout the years :)

Very nice.

Nice history lesson

Completely amazed by your publication, is the statue beautiful and I am curious to know who sculpted the statue on the rock? and because people did not know of its existence?

A wonderful place and especially I liked the pine on the rock. I think it is not enough soil for it there but the pine still grows.
