Spring and Fall of Daejo-sa Temple in Buyeo City the Former Capital of Baekje Dynasty

in travel •  6 years ago

I dropped by this temple last autumn to look at the Stone Maitreya Buddha. But I could not see the face of the statue.
The face of the statue was covered, because the statue was under the repair.

So I stopped by this temple once again in this summer to see the face and to compare the stone Maitreya Buddha in Gwanchok-sa temple.

It was the day after the rain. So the scenery was so excellent. It was quite different from that of the fall. Sky was clear and blue. Air was clean.

When I dropped by this temple last fall, the temple was the paradise of the flowers as below.

As entering into the temple, I was amazed at the circumstances.
I could see the statue from far away, and getting closer, the statue became clearer.

Before rushing to the statue, I looked at the temple more carefully.
Eventhough this temple building had been built recently, but they seemed to follow the style of Goryeo dynasty.
I could notice the architecture of this temple building was considering the Statue which had been built in the early Goryeo dynasty with the supporting structure for the roof.

The patterns of the window was as same as the style of Goryeo dynasty.
