What is true happiness?
Can it be defined with words alone?
I believe,
it is a difficult feeling to describe as it exists
in every living cell in our body.
It is truly, all encompassing.
The closest word, I can find to describe my true happiness is
Fulfillment.
I began to understand this when I started to travel.
Especially to countries where
the citizens had little money and had suffered through very difficult times..
yet they all still seemed so vibrant and genuinely happy.
They seemed to be living truly in the moment.
They seemed to draw joy from everyday life.
Embodying the true human connection that we have all have with one another.
So maybe those who have the least are the ones who can feel the most fulfilled?
I don't claim to have all the answers as happiness translates differently in each of our lives.
But in my own personal journey,
I know that when I gave away most of my material junk
I became enlightened from something that wasn't truly fulfilling me.
and my direction started to shift towards my finding my true path in life..
A path where I could see beauty in the tiny details..
When I am old...I want to still be fulfilled everyday..no regrets.
