Three Things to Do in Niagara Falls That Are Free (Photo Journal)

You don't need to break the bank or write a million Steemit posts to enjoy this town, just get there and I promise you a day of entertainment and countless photo opportunities.

First you want to get to the Canada side, it has the best view, yes Trump was right when he said Canada was taking advantage of the US, this is how. We got the best view and can harness the most power with our side. Go with people you know and like being around such a father (who might buy ya dinner later) and an easy going travel partner.

I spent the afternoon there while I was doing my Canadian tour and being a tourist in your own country is the best. You get to do all the fun stuff and spend all your money and not have to go to work in the morning, just like a real tourist.

Without a doubt just watching and listening to the falls from the sides of the river are the peak of the trip. Why else would you come here? The casino perhaps? That's only here because the falls are here. Anything here is only here because the falls are here.

Free Activity One

Watching the falls. Plan to be here before and after sunset. At night the Canadians are so kind as to shine some bright colourful lights on to the falls making them pretty spectacular.

During the day as long as there is sunshine you will see rainbows, lots of them from several angles. Walking up stream along the shoreline is a nice easy stroll with lots to see. The mossies are pretty bad at dusk so do bring some bug spray.

Free Activity Two

The main strip window shop and walk. This place is very busy and people are hustling about, I swear it was busier than Beijing. There are many places that will gladly take your money. From 3D VR rides and games, wax museums of all kinds, haunted houses, Riply's Believe it or Not, mini golf the options are seemingly endless. DO NOT PAY just get your photos on the stuff out on the street like I did.

Something for all tastes.

Like I said lots of photo ops. Maybe you can trick a cute girl into posing for some fun shots.

Maybe you will get to see Captain Jack Black or Taylor Swift.

And of course you can go in to the shops and mess around without buying anything, don't feel bad tons of others are emptying their bank account for this place.

Free Activity Three

Feed the birds and chase the squirrels to kill some time waiting for the sun to set. Ok, so it's not something you can't do at home probably but now you can say you did it here too.

Once the sunsets things stay alive and the mood changes to more relaxed and more playful. Just wandering around the streets and into the courtyards of hotels and around the casino is sure to offer some fun things to see and experience.

It's easy to have fun here if you don't mind walking or and hanging out taking it easy. Of course if you want to blow a couple hundred buck in the midway you won't regret that either. Remember you make the trip great no matter what is there.
