I have no stove but I wanted to cook tortellini and pasta sauce. I used the kettle to boil water then poured it in a small trash can. I dumped the pasta sauce in a zip lock bag and put it in the hot water and covered it to keep the heat in. Next I dumped the tortellini in the kettle, filled it with water and boiled it. After 10 to 15 min, both were super hot and super tasty.
