Hello Friends! Today i am going to introduce you to my very first visit to Andaman & Nicobar Is.
Am from "West Bengal- India," and i went to Andaman last year!
As per my experience it's a tremendous place to spend a holiday with your family or loved ones.
It has superb scenic beauty, beautiful beaches, coastal areas, variety of fishes and food to it.
People from all over the world come and visit there, so there you could get to see a bunch of different cultures and people.
So here i go, i will tell you about my experience to a visit in Andaman's.
Generally, all the flights from India to Port Blair ( Capital of Andaman's) are scheduled at early morning 5:45 am, and believe me early morning flights always lifts your excitement to another level, because somewhere or the other you can't sleep , just thinking about the place you will be in after few hours, that too a place like Andaman's.
So i took a nap in between 11 to 11:30 pm and woke up with a short one at 2:30 am and STARTED TO GET READY!
After that i reached Airport and went through securities and boarded the flight.
Had a nice time in the flight with a quick nap , Haha ! :D and then breakfast.
The flight was of 2 hr 20 mints all above the ocean and only ocean everywhere! :o
While landing , the beauty i saw of the island was just amazing! Simply Amazing! I guess it was worth the flight ticket. Haha!
Then i reached my dad's place as my dad had posting there for 6 months.
Then we explored different places had " Idli, Sambhar" - Famous there.
Then we went Radha-nagar Beach! Crazy Island ! So Big !
There we ate Fish curry and rice.
Then we went Havelok, this was too an amazing Island. "I would recommend."
Then it was turn for Baratang Is. (Jarwas live there)
There you are not allowed alone or just walk by as there live "early-mans" also called "Jarwa"
You're sent with a car with all windows closed, "sounds too creepy", I know but at the same time it's exciting too!
Then we went "North Bay Beach" . This is a very interesting and historic place as there is a place which is printed in the 20 Rupees note of Indian Currency.
Then last but not least we went to Cellular Jail. It was a very dangerous jail spread in wide area.
It is been told that it had a very high level security, as according to locals it was said that there were, " 2 brothers in the same jail next to there prison, but they were unaware with that and lived several years like that.
So overall it is a must place to go in. There you get to see scenic beauty as well as foods, cultures and some interesting facts and history too.
Thanks for reading, will be back with another article.
Till then Goodbye.
Stunning images. Are the Jarwa dangerous?
