My fellow Steemians,
Welcome on board to the 1st part of my travel blog series.
Now fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the following posts.
Spiritual Pilot in Paradise!
My girlfriend and me had a fabulous time in Trinidad and Tobago and I can recommend anyone to visit this beautiful and wild place at least once in their lives. Trinidad and Tobago has so much to offer and is very different from everything that I have seen before. You can find mind blowing beaches and beautiful landscapes as well as rough cliffs, wild rainforests and so much more!

Especially the people of T&T are one of a kind. They are laid back as F***. The Rasta culture has its footprints everywhere and the people from the corporate world should learn from that. Besides that, you can hear music everywhere. Most of the time, Reggea and Socca sounds are coming from every corner.
Sometimes also at the same time! The Trinidadians are very vibrant and life loving people.
The service sector is very different from what people of western countries might be used to. But I will tell you more about this later. The weather is most of the times wonderful.

But first of all some valuable facts about Trinidad and Tobago:
• T&T has about 1.3 Million citizens and is with its capital Port of Spain, the economical engine of the whole
Caribbean.
• T&T is extremely close to Venezuela. Only 11 KM distance to the North West
• T&T consists of two Islands.
• Tobago (which is more laid back and much safer as the citizens say) is the Island in the north.
• Prices for houses are higher in Tobago and the daily life is very much calmer than its southern brother.
• Trinidad is more active and way bigger. Statistics say that Trinidad is after Venezuela the place with the most crime
on earth.
• Trinidad is home of its world famous carnival (February).
That is the reward. The beautiful beach of Maracas! Now a Coconut, Cheers!
I would like to welcome you back on board for the upcoming posts as well.
The next blog will be about our hikes through the rainfoirests.
Thank you for your interest.
