Afghanistan is a Central Asian country bordered by Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to the north, Iran to the west, China to the east and Pakistan to the south. The meaning of the word "Afghanistan" is the land of the Afghans, and is one of the ancient points of contact of the Silk Road, and previous human migrations. It is geostrategic, linking East, West, South and Central Asia, home to many ancient and modern nations during successive eras.

Afghanistan has a total area of 65,2230 square kilometers, and the terrain is generally rugged and rugged, with plains in the north and southwest. The highest point in the country is a rise of 7,492 meters above sea level.
