I've been living in south Florida for a little over 3 years now and I truly love it. The Palm trees, sunshine and beaches are hard to beat. Obviously Miami is a hot spot for locals and tourists from all over. When most people think of Miami, they think about the gorgeous beaches, latin flavor and massive club/dance scene. All of those are a strong pull and of course I appreciate them but their are some places that get highly overlooked. As an artist/musician I have a strong appreciation for painting, artwork, and sculpture. Just west of south beach across the intracoastal is a beautiful gem known as Wynwood. Stunning would be an understatement for this area. Wynwood is filled with thousands of intense paintings covering storefronts and walls all over the town! "Wynwood Walls" is an outdoor area dedicated to the most talented artists from all over the world to come and let their creativity run wild. It is truly one of the most magical places in the world. If you ever end up in south Florida, I highly suggest you make your way to the Wynwood Walls.

After Parking the car and starting to walk down the street, this was the first thing I saw. A very talented young man who guys by the name Zeek. He's an unbelievable ukulele player who wheres a somewhat creepy yet unique mask to draw in attention. He was a nice hearted soul who enjoys his surroundings...and donations ;)

I really loved this one. It was one of the first paintings that I saw and I couldn't help but stare. The details on the chimpanzee were so phenomonal. It looks like a picture when you look at it on here but in person its insanely big!

The colors on this wall in the picture below were absolutely breathtaking. So much expression in one giant painting. I can't help but become overwhelmed with joy while seeing such a beautiful work of art:)

"The purpose of art is washing the dust of our daily life off our souls"

-Pablo Picasso

Their were many indoor art galleries in the area as well as the outdoor beauty. I took a look inside to see what treasures the indoor galleries held and I was not let down:) ...below I share the beauty! lets take a look!

Just like I said I was not disappointed ! such unbelievable talent! after sometime in the gallery I decided to take the adventure back outdoors.

I thought this painting was especially cool lol.. can you see why? This one was just so different and impossible not to be fond of. Soon after looking at it, A young couple who appeared to both be models asked me if I could take their picture in front of it. I said yes of course :)

As some of you may know, I absolutely have a thing for black and white photography.. I had to capture a couple pictures and transform the beauty into a different shade :) And the clouds in the picture came out breathtaking.

I didn't know whether I was taking a picture of her or if she was taking a picture of me ;) lol.. I loved her cat as well.

After making a decision to get some coffee and make my way back towards the car, who do we bump into in a different spot? Zeek!!! He was back in action doing his thing. This time I took it upon myself to get to know Zeek a little bit better. As a musician I figured what better opportunity to connect with him then a jam session. I love to sing so we had a little bit of fun and made some awesome music and shared some laughs. If you don't know this about me already, I love to connect with others. Its been a quality of mine my whole life. There's something special about human connection especially when its new and exciting !

This is a memory I will never forget. Ill be sure to visit Zeek every time I visit Miami. He is a true star and he will continue to shine bright!

This picture was funny because their was a random umbrella attached to a fence and I wanted to take a picture under it. After reviewing the picture it looked like it was attached to my head lol! I had to put this one in here :)

For those of you who are coffee lovers and are unfamiliar with Miami, be sure to check out Panther Coffee ! Panther is located in Wynwood, Miami right in the midst of all the artwork and Is famous for its incredible variety of coffee from South America. They have the best cold brew coffee I've ever tasted :)

I decided to go with the all famous cold brew that id heard about and it was a combination of Ecuadorian and Brazilian beans. Oh my god was it delicious :) So I decided to end my post with a nice picture of me holding my delicious cold brew coffee. Why is he ending it like this you may ask? Well not only was the coffee delicious but my experience there was so epic and fun that the smile on my face says it all:) I love promoting positivity and freedom!
