In the territory of the Poltava region there are many rivers. One of them is Kolomak. It flows in the Poltava and Kharkov regions and it is a left tributary of the Vorskla River, which flows through the city of Poltava itself. The length of the Kolomak is about 100 m, the width is 20-50, the depth is up to 6 m.
The name has a Turkic origin, in translation means - branched swampy river. During the Cossacks on the lands where it flows, there were the territories of the Akhtyrsky regiment and the Poltava regiment.
We made a bike ride from the city to its shores, about 15 km to one side. The water is still very cold, did not have time to warm up. Warm weather lasts only a few days. Summer this year does not please us.
