I just wanted to post this picture I took from a British-Airlines flight from Berlin to London.
You can clearly see the the largest windfarm in the world, and the largest in Europe by Megawatt, located 12 Miles off the North Foreland on the Kent coast in the area between Long Sand and Kentish Knock.
It consist of 175 Siemens SWT-3.6 Wind Power turbines , generates a Nameplate capacity of 630 MW and cost around £1.8 billion (€2.2 billion)
