Bah! Don’t you just love it when your luggage disappears ?
I’m currently wearing slippers that I got at the plane, bathrobe from the resort and a tie dye dress from the souvenir shop. Not a cool look, I can assure you! I’m not thrilled about not having my belongings, but hey... look at where I am!

We’re so positively surprised by the hotel. We knew it was going to be nice, but it really exceed our expectations.
Can’t wait to spend the next two weeks here!

Sometimes life seems unfair but in the end it turns out wonderful in a way we couldn't even imagine at the beginning :)
Stay positive and embrace the experiences which want to come to you due to this new and uncomfortable situation. And breathe, look around where you are (as you said) and think: Hell yeah, I am in paradise! F*** my luggage :D
Have an amazing time and enjoy every experience you make. In a few years you'll laugh about it :D

In a location like this, i really wouldn't mind buying new stuffs. Lovely images you have there. However, it's a good thing you didn't allow your missing luggages affect your flexing.

Not sure if you already did this but make sure to demand compensation from the airline and even if you have insurance ask for additional compensation as this obviously puts a negative spin to your 2 week stay!

Oh my gosh Susan, I don't even know how to respond to your post. I am mesmerized by your beautiful photos of that breathtaking place and I wish I was there and on the other hand I feel bad reading about your luggage. It happened to me too, many years ago, when I arrived to Canada. Hopefully you will get it sooner than I did. ............It took two weeks to get my, lol.
Nevertheless, it's good to know that you won't let that spoil your vacation..............enjoy every moment and keep us posted. XOXO

Great photos. That sucks about the luggage. I usually buy trip insurance. I think I get 150 per day for lost luggage up to 300 total. More than enough to buy clothes and necessities. I think the delay has to be 12 hours or more. I have never had to use it. Luckily.

I've got a very good travel insurance, they give me 600USD when my luggage is lost.

If my luggage gets lost, my mood would prolly destroy my day but then hey,the place is really nice. I have only heard about this country on an anime that features countries! It is called Hetalia. I so fell in love with it although it is just an anime =)
