Vientiane is an interesting tourist city in Laos. There are many famous tourist attractions that I used to present to you in my old posts. Today, I would like to add photos of some more interesting buildings in this post.

It’s very convenient especially for Thai people to travel to Vientiane because the city is located near the upper northeastern region of Thailand, so traveling there is so easy. Besides, some Lao people can speak Thai, so we are familiar with them and we don’t worry about getting lost while traveling there. And it’s good that the cost of living there is so cheap as well. These are the outstanding reasons why many Thai people travel to Vientiane.

Furthermore, another reason why Vientiane is an interesting and fascinating city is that there are some places in the city that still retain their old features.

For example;

Ho Phrakeo Museum Vientiane - it has a beautifully carved wooden building which has been renovated very well. This place was originally the royal temple of the Lao royal family and used to enshrine the Emerald Buddha brought from Lanna. (At present, the Emerald Buddha is enshrined in Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram (Wat Phra Kaew) in Bangkok.)

Palais Presidentiel - it is a landmark known for its elegance and grace, with magnificent architecture featuring tall columns and shaded balconies. The building is surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens, and is fenced off with wrought iron gates.

Vientiane Capital Library - it’s good that the place can provide knowledge for people in the city, especially students.

Last but not least, joining the night fair of the city would surely be exciting, especially those colorful amusements for children.

That’s all for today.

So you live in Indonesia, correct? Can you go back and forth between Thailand with a passport or visa or do you need those to travel between the surrounding countries?

Nice clear photos

First of all, thanks a lot for resteem my post.

I live in Thailand. The country in this post is Laos and not Indonesia. Our country is very close to Laos, so it's easy to travel there.
