Wat Pa Phu Thap Boek is located on the top of the mountain (1,786 meters above sea level) in Phetchabun province, Thailand.
The temple is beautiful surrounded by lush forests. You can enjoy the magnificent view of the mountain peak and beautiful nature amidst the mist.
The atmosphere in the temple is peaceful and the weather is cool all year round. It is, therefore, a good place for practicing Dhamma to calm the mind as well as a great place where you can worship Buddha statues and make merit.
The highlight of Wat Pa Phu Thap Boek is the Phra Maha That Chedi Phothipakkhiyatham, which enshrines the relics of the Lord Buddha. It stands out even from afar.
You have to climb up the stairs of silver and gold Nagas which are decorated with beautiful giant lotus statues and some awesome sculptures on both sides of the stairs.
In addition to being the place where the relics of the Lord Buddha are enshrined, the Phra Maha That Chedi Phothipakkhiyatham also enshrines the reclining Buddha statue.
I bet, traveling to Wat Pa Phu Thap Boek will not disappoint you…
