I did an amazing hiking tour to Alpi Apuane in Tuscany, reaching one of its highest peak so called Pania della Croce at a height of 1885 meters. The surrounding was so picturesque, wonderful and the climb not too difficult for anyone. A panoramic view from the top, streacheng deep into the Tyrrhenian sea and the adjacents towns, represents one of the reasons to MUST visit it!
My starting point of the hike was the village of Piglionico (1128 m. above sea level) accessible after apx. 1 hour long driving from the city of Pisa.
I definitely recommend the climb!
