One of the areas that has the appearance of 'snow' is the Dieng Plateau. This is because the area is located in Central Java it often has temperatures almost below zero degrees Celsius.
Because there is a very cold temperature around the Dieng Plateau emerging dew upas. Dew is what is often referred to as 'snow' Dieng.
This surprising phenomenon makes Dieng nicknamed European Indonesia. Another nickname is the Land on the Cloud, because of the frequent fog down in this plain.
