Hey friends,
since the year 2016, Moscow will give away 10.000m² to citizens with a Russian citizenship. The area has to be in the east of Russia. This land will be given away permanently. Firstly the area will be granted for five years. After three years the new owner has to show off how he uses the area. If you will use it properly it will granted completely to you.
The phase in which only some citizens could take advantage of this offer is finished and now everybody can enjoy this privilege (since February 2017).
Russia wants to develop their country by this initiative and use its vast and weakly populated areas in the east.
If you planned to live in Russia, maybe you could take this opportunity and start with a huge advantage. Also, the use for business seems great. You have to live ca 10km from the next bigger city.
Just a random view :)
Another one
I would recommend choosing your area near Vladivostok. This city is a big one at the Japanese sea and has about 600.000 citizens. The climate is pretty ok. The average temperature in winter is -5°C till -8°C and in summer 21°C till 23°C. And if you like the Japanese culture, you could easily travel there often. If I awakened your interest, feel free to research further.
Here you can see the area I mentioned.
Have a nice day! :)

Do people sell it to get more land for better use? also how is the security there ?

You aren't allowed to sell it, you have to use it. I found on the Internet that russia has a criminal rate as the USA.

I think if people were allowed to exchange their land and group together for business, not necessarily sell out, it will be a good profit

you could go as a family (e.g. 5 persons) there and get per person with at least 18 years this area. It would make amazing 50.000m² for free. pretty nice ^^

Maybe an open letter to the australian government would help. As an example you could take the russian initiative. That would be very interesting, indeed!
