I've been fortunate to travel to many places in the United States. One area that continues to amaze me is Page Arizona. Page is near the Arizona/Utah border. It is about 4.5 hours north of Phoenix and 2 hours north of Flagstaff. I have visited Page three times and the sights near the city are incredible.
One of the main attractions is Lower Antelope Canyon. There is also an Upper Antelope Canyon, but I prefer visiting Lower Antelope Canyon. Two tour companies are located at the premises [fees apply to tour the canyon]. Both companies do a good job of conducting the tour. Once you go inside, prepare to be amazed.
Another wonderful attraction is Horseshoe Bend. No fees are needed to visit the beautiful spot. Free parking is available so you can drive to this location. If you plan to shoot sunset, get here an hour before to get a prime spot to shoot it. It gets very crowded during sunset.
Wahweap Point provides an amazing view of the area. This location is open from sunrise to sunset. It is free to all and you'll need a car to get here.
Page is a perfect spot if you want a base of operations for your travels. The Grand Canyon is about 2 hours away. You can also drive to Zion and Bryce Canyon [about a 2.5 hour]. The city of Kanab is about 1 hr 15 minutes away [in case you are able to see The Wave].
I have visited Page in April, May, and December. The winter months are the slow season in Page so hotel prices are very low. The busy season is late Spring and Summer.
I hope this bit of information has been helpful.
Zion NP is really amazing :-)
Can you do the Antelope Canyon yourself or is a Tour required?

Antelope Canyon [Lower & Upper] requires a tour. I've been Zion a number of times and it is heaven on earth.
