Morning From Berlin - Jord's Journal #25

in travel •  7 years ago

Our first stop in Berlin was the Eastside Gallery of the Berlin Wall.

It's a section of the wall that has been painted by various artists and is meant to be a symbol of freedom.

It's over 1300m of art and a must see if you're ever in Berlin!

Great shot. Do you think you could post a few more photos so we can see more of the graffiti and artworks along the wall?

Thanks.

Thanks! Definitely, will post some more photos from here and a video too as soon as I can get to editing it :)

Also waiting for that @techwizardry. Can't wait for the video too @thelifeofjord

Berlin is an amazing city - spent a lot of time wandering the leftover remnants of the wall - from the self-guided walking tour to the park. Really powerful. Thanks for sharing!

A great city and glad i got to see this part of it too! The self guided tour sounds great, we didnt try that out unfortunately

It's super long - took hours, but guides you through a riverside cemetery that was literally sliced in half by the wall - the wall even goes through graves. It's pretty intense! Next time :)

Thats crazy! Interesting to know, thanks.
