Bali, Indonesia – is one of the most popular island destination in Southeast Asia.

We went to Bali during the Chinese New Year Holiday last 2017.

Here’s our 4-day itinerary:

Day 1

We traveled from Singapore to Bali via Tigerair which took 2hours and 45 minutes.

We landed Bali 9:55 in the morning which is nice so we can utilise the day for a half day tour.

First, we visit the local coffee plantation where you will be able to taste the local coffee blends, including the most expensive coffee in the world “coffee luwak”.

After the coffee tasting, we headed to Taman Ayun Temple.

Taman Ayun literally translates as “beautiful garden”.

Next destination was Beratan Lake. The temple, with the multi-tiered shrines and thatched roofs, floating on the water in front of the beautiful highland backdrop.

Our last destination for Day 1 was Marine Temple of Tanah Lot.
It is one of the famous tourist attractions in Bali. We made sure that we reach there before sunset because it is wide known for its beautiful sunset setting.

The site draws a crowd of tourists who came to witness the temple scene however, it was gloomy on that day and we did not catch the sunset.

Day 2

Nusa Penida Tour - we had a full day visiting the Nusa Penida Island.
Going to Nusa Penida island from Bali, the easiest way is getting to Sanur Beach. Using public boat, you will reach the island in about 90 minutes. It is best to arrange a ferry boat one day before you leave.

Nusa Penida (West Coast Tour)

When doing a west coast tour, you will visit:
Kelingking Beach
Broken Beach
Angel’s Billabong
Crystal Bay

Kelingking Beach - is a hidden beach on the southwestern coast of the island. You can enjoy one of the most breath-taking views from the top. This unique formation is reminiscent to the T-rex head.
