Week 4/52 - 2018 Tokyo & Kyoto, Japan

Hi Steemit World,

I'm almost up to date! The last week of January comin' at ya!

This is Week 4: Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th, January 2018

The week I had been looking forward to for months had finally arrived. Come Wednesday night, I would be in a different country! We'll get to that later :)

On Monday, I had work, training and another 'last' dinner with my family haha. We had hot pot again and Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tarts. I wish I had taken photos of that night. There's always next time!

On Tuesday, I was meant to go to training after work, but my partner's car tyre popped while he was driving! Our family has the worst luck with our cars haha. Luckily, there were no other cars nearby so he, ever so slowly and carefully, drove to the safety of the closest service station to change his tyre. With this change of plans, we had dinner with his family, which was lovely. We ate at Reef and had the Seafood Platter for 4. Then we moved on and had dessert at Max Brenner. Foooood coma!

We flew out from Brisbane Wednesday morning, and touched down in Tokyo at around 7p.m. We stayed in an Airbnb apartment during our stay in Tokyo (please let me know if you need some recommendations!).

Please enjoy some of the snaps we took during our days in Tokyo and Kyoto during this week.
