My Visit To A War Memorial Park

in travel •  7 years ago

Hey Friends,
How have you been?

Today I want to share some pictures of a memorial park that I visited earlier when I was in Dharamshala. This was a great experience and a beautiful tribute to our war heroes. This memorial park located in the district Dharamshala, in Himachal Pradesh. This memorial honors those Himachali martyrs who lost their lives while defending our motherland, India.

India is always known for there great armed forces. The theme was dedicated to those soldiers who lost their lives during the war operations of 1947-48, 1962, 1965 and 1971 between Pakistan and China. The park is surrounded by beautiful green forest.

This park also gives tribute to one of our legend General Zorawar Singh (1786-1841). Here is the complete information about the General Zorawar Singh that how he spent his whole life for our motherland.

The park is well maintained by army people of Dharamshala. Here they made a beautiful map of India on the landscape with the help of stones and colored them beautifully. Each state separately indicates the different colors. Really I can't explain my feelings in words that how I feel after watching these beautiful things.

I was wondering What I am at a memorial park but didn't see our Indian flag in the whole park, then suddenly these catchy lines grab my attention. I really salute this man who wrote such wonderful lines.

When I moved further my eyes were stuck on a beautiful artistic black wall. This wall is made up of black marble. This artistic wall is a symbol of Burning Flame Of National Freedom.

Here is the name list of all the martyrs who lost their lives in war.

There were some weapons too those used in war earlier. They were looking so cool. I just love there old designs
