Hi. I'm Traveler DH. I'm going to tell you my experiences while I was in internship program in US.
I went to Bryce Caynon in Utah last winter. It was my first time to see the canyon so it was so thrilling!
Bryce Caynon National Park is a United States national park located in southwestern Utah. The major feature of the park is Bryce Caynon, which despite its name, is not a caynon but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos, formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide surely spectacular views for park visitors.
I believe that there is no place like Bryce Caynon. Odd-shaped Pillars of rock standing from the forces of erosion are literally made me feel I'm in other-wordly. According to booklet, Bryce Caynon is the largest collection of hoodoos in the world!
Look at this magnificent scenery. Over the top amazing. I did go down into the caynon for a 4 mile hike from Sunset Point to Sunrise Point during the daytime. Since Wall Street was jam packed with tourist, it actually looked like a human ant farm . Once I got past Wall Street though the crowds thinned out.
The hike down into the caynon was quite easy and absolutely breathtaking. However, what goes duwn must come up and coming up wasn't a piece of cake. It was really cold(I visited Bryce on Feb) and while the incline wasn't bad, it was a hard hike up. I can imagine how hard it would be to hike here in summer. If you have any plan to hike Bryce, you can't overestimate how much water you need...!!
If you get there, you shouldn't miss the sunset. The view from the rim are nice, but are exquisite at sunset! You must be on the rim at sunset really! I do like my hike and the views of the caynon at sunset. You should come!!
