Traveling is always made of great experiences, like laying down on a paradisiac beach, enjoy good food, relax with your loved ones, but there are a particular kind of experiences that one can’t simply forget… They are just Amazing!
And we @travelingstories want to share ours with you, so you can enjoy your trips like we do enjoy ours!
And today… After a while, we will continue our series of 4 posts about our Amazing Experience in one of the most beautiful beaches of Malta: The Blue Lagoon! 😊
Beautiful, isn’t it? 😊
Like we mentioned before, it’s a good idea for you to try to reach Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon early, specially in the Summer months, when the place can really get crowded. Really…
Besides that, we’ve got some other tips for you that we will be sharing on this post. The first is to bring your own food with you!
As you may already know, the Comino Island – an island in between the two biggest Maltese Islands (Malta and Gozo) – is uninhabited and only has a hotel on it. So, don’t expect to find a supermarket to buy water or a nice restaurant or beach bar where you can eat a nice salad, while you admire the view.
No, the only thing that you can find is a series of food stands, right next to the dock where your boat will arrive, with hamburgers, hot-dogs and a few more things. It’s nice if you enjoy some typical beach bar food, but it can get pricey and crowded…
So, our advice is to bring your own food! (Even because all these guys can eat the one you’ll try to buy! 😊)
Also, keep in mind that Malta is really, really hot in the Summer and that you should protect yourself from the sun by midday. Bearing this in mind, you can help your tourist-friends to decorate the beach with rented sun umbrellas…
Or you can choose our option and abandon the Blue Lagoon by midday and take a nice, refreshing boat trip back to the main island of Malta, avoid the crowds at the end of the day and take the rest of your afternoon to visit Paradise Bay, another beautiful spot near the port of Iċ-Ċirkewwa.
Oh! But before that… You can always try to reach the other side of the Blue Lagoon… It’s not that far, and the view from there it’s also very beautiful!
We did it, but we didn’t take the camera with us… 😊
Oh! But don’t forget to bring something to cover your feet… The other side is pretty rocky!
Hope you enjoyed this post as much as we enjoyed being in the Blue Lagoon, that you upvote it, resteem it and… Come back for more traveling stories and specially for the last post of the Blue Lagoon series! 😊
