Not to Miss: Paradise Bay, Malta

The name is not merely an indicator...

This beach is really the Paradise!

Located on the North of the Island of Malta, one of the three islands that compose the country of Malta (Malta, Gozo and Comino islands), this beach is small, but it’s water and sand are just perfect!

Near it, you can find the Port of Cirkewwa, where you can catch a ferry to Gozo island, or a bus to Valletta. Also, from there you can catch the bus #101 and avoid a 10-15 minute walk to Paradise Bay :)

Paradise Bay situated on a small bay and points North, though it’s also a good place to watch the sunset. It has a beach bar that serves salads, hamburgers and the typical “beach-food”, plus it has showers and toilets you can use, just like us @travelingstories can use, before catch the plane…

Yeah… That’s exactly what happened to us. After half a day on another (of the many) paradise on Malta (and stay tuned because this one will be just amazing!), we decided to go to Paradise Beach. There we stayed for a few hours, contemplating its beauty and its water, until the sun went down. We left for Saint Julian’s (where we stayed on our trip to Malta), but something was not right…

We were about catch a plane on the end of the next day to Madrid and it would be the end of our holidays… So… We decided to go back to Paradise Beach!

Yes, that’s right! All day on the beach, a quick shower, a rush to Saint Julian’s to pick our stuff at the hotel, a run to the bus to the airport and there we were: leaving the Pearl of the Mediterranean Sea back to Portugal, via Madrid, and… Back to work… Well, at least we have been to…
