Every traveler dreams of finding one… A hidden gem, a unique, special place none knows… A piece of Paradise on Earth, untouched by the masses… We @travelingstories want to share with you these special places, so you can wonder at them like we did!
This time, we will continue our latest Amazing Experience and will present you with one of the most beautiful beaches of Malta: the Blue Lagoon! 😊
This incredible beach (and yes, we @travelingstories love incredible beaches like the Shipwreck Beach, in Zakynthos!) is located in one of the three main islands of Malta, a country in the South of Europe.
We talked about Malta already, namely about the beautiful streets of Valletta and about one of its many hidden gems – Saint Peter’s Pool –, and we would like to add something in this post: go visit this country! It’s incredible! 😊
Well, but back to the Blue Lagoon, like we were saying, the Paradise on Earth is located in one of the three islands that constitute Malta: Malta, Comino and Gozo. More precisely, the Blue Lagoon is situated in Comino, the smallest of the three and a practically deserted island, reachable only by boat, like we mentioned on our previous post (and where we present some good tips to reach the island)!
We @travelingstories have arrived pretty early at this Paradise on Earth and the main reason is simple: it gets crowded, because it’s simply impossible to visit Malta as a tourist and not going to the Blue Lagoon… It’s one of this country top attractions!
Located in a small bay and protected from the open sea by a rocky piece of land, the Blue Lagoon is simply breathtaking! Its water is so, so blue that you get the sensation of being in a pool, rather than on the sea…
Immediately after our arrival, we looked for a good place to enjoy the sun. The closest to the water, the better, of course, and we found two options: a small strip of sand right next to the dock where the boats stop, or a rocky place some meters away.
The first looked pretty nice, like you see on the photo bellow, but it had an important disadvantage: it wouldn’t be that quiet one the boats start arriving, carrying lots of people to the island…
The second looked nicer, though we wouldn’t have much space to sit down and relax on our beach towel…
All in all, that was our choice and it was a good one, what you will really want in The Blue Lagoon is to swim on that amazing water! 😊
Hope you enjoyed this post as much as we enjoyed being in Prague, that you upvote it, resteem it and… Come back for more traveling stories! 😊
And on our next post, we will continue to describe our Amazing Experience at The Blue Lagoon! 😊
